Hi, how reliable is the Renault Grand Scenic? Is it worth buying year 2010? Is it true that the engine in the Scenic is the same as in Nissan's Qashqai?

My 2001 Volvo V40 has got some major problem, which will cost about €2,000 to fix so Iam looking at getting a V50. I got my Volvo when it was five years old and soon after it needed a major part replaced, which was usual for its age at the time. I don't want this to happen when I buy a V50 so wonder what year automobile I should get? I see a lot of the 2008 models for sale and wonder will they be needing some new part as soon as I get it?
Thanks for your help

I'm interested in a 2005 Ford Mondeo Estate with 112,000 miles on it. I need to do about 2,400 miles per month mostly on motorways. Would this be a sensible choice in terms of reliability or is the mileage too high?

I have a 2002 Toyota Corolla 1.4 VVT-i petrol, which has just passed its NCT. It is the newer type model for that year and has 138,000 miles on the clock. It has never given me any trouble and is in good nick but I'm doing about 340 miles a week in it and it's costing me about 60 Euro a week in petrol. If I were to sell it private how much would I expect to get?
