How do I insure my wife who has been driving on a USA licence for the last year, but is now transitioning to a learner permit as is required by the law in Ireland? Insurance underwriters don't seem to be able to flex to someone who has 17 years driving experience, has been driving an Audi A6 legally for a year, but now is mandated to hold a learner's permit until the mandatory 12 lessons and test is passed.

I live in Norvay and I'm going to buy a 2008 Mazda3 diesel model and I wonder if this automobile has a timing chain or belt and what are the intervals for this. Is it different in Nordic countries or the same worldwide?

I’m planning to import a 2017 Honda Civic Smart Plus 1.0-litre VTEC Turbo. No databases have this automobile and I can’t seem to get a VRT estimate anywhere.

We are an Irish registered company with an office and employees in the UK. We have a UK-purchased automobile (purchased new in 2015 and in the company name since) that is used by a UK employee as a company automobile. One of our employees here in Ireland is due a automobile and is happy to drive the UK automobile. Thus we wish to import and register the automobile here in Ireland at the head office. Can we import and register here without incurring VRT?

Is the 1.2 TCe petrol engine in the Renault Kadjar any good? It’s something I’ve been looking at buying (used), but I get the impression from reading various comments and reviews online that it seems rather gutless in terms of power/torque and the economy is just ok. I know the 1.5 dCi is the default choice, but my mileage (roughly 7,000km per year mainly urban) doesn't justify a diesel. Peugeot’s 1.2 on the other hand seems to be excellent and highly regarded. Yet it’s the same size?
