Moroccan motoring madness

changagoidem Features | Moroccan motoring madness

I'm standing on the footpath trying to cross the road, well many roads, as this seems to be a large unmarked junction. The mosque is to my right and the call to prayer is echoing out across the city. Men in robes and flip flops dash across the roads, but I (literally) haven't got the balls to step out in front of the speeding onslaught of traffic like they do. I'm still trying to work out what direction the automobiles are coming from, plus here comes another photo opportunity: a Volkswagen Golf MkI followed by a Jetta MkII. The windscreen…

changagoidem Features | Editor's picks - Geneva 2016

Being on neutral ground, Geneva is the one motor show where the really get rolled out. But this year's event certainly seemed to be more about sensibilities and, of course, . The Volkswagen Group's Apology Tour of 2015 seems to have come to an end, although that didn't stop a comedian attempting to disrupt Jürgen Stackmann during the Volkswagen press conference...

But no, my heart was won by the Nissan IDx concepts, a pair of throwbacks to the Datsun Violet that…

changagoidem Features | Nissan Qashqai vs. Renault Kadjar...

Some 15 years from the turning of the last century, a young warrior did strike forth to make his fortune and maybe his fame, but many and treacherous were the turns and fates that awaited him on his path. From the House of Renault did he come and Kadjar was his name. A tall, broad, handsome lad, with narrow, piercing eyes and a vast diamond-shaped shield held in front. No similar warrior had ever held that shield before them, so breaking new ground young Kadjar certainly was.

But, said the doubters and the throwers of…

Automobile psychology 101: what your automobile says about you.

changagoidem Features | Automobile psychology 101: what your automobile says about you.

So the '161' edition of our iPad mag is upon us and while the changagoidem.ie men are helping you choose a new automobile based on performance, road handling and value for money, I am here to help you in a slightly different way. I'm here to help you choose the right colour of automobile, because, you know, I'm the token girl and that is all us females know about automobiles.

Of course, I jest. You see, not a lot of you will know this, but I hold an MSc. in Psychology from Trinity and was…
